The
Multi-State Crime Interdiction Unit was formed in 1999 by a metro Atlanta, Georgia law enforcement officer who, after
years of responding to calls from crime victims, decided to try to help reduce the crime rate by educating the public with free crime
awareness seminars. Over a nineteen (19) period MSCIU has worked with numerous civic organizations, private and public companies, government agencies, and educational facilities throughout the United States helping to educate and train their personnel in the area of personal safety. All seminars can be tailored to meet your organization's individual needs.

After spending 2½ years working with the GA Department of Human Resources as the senior child abuse investigator for the Forsyth County Division of Family and Children’s Services, Mr. Watkins now heads the Multi-State Crime Interdiction Unit. Previously, he worked six years with the Fulton County, Georgia Sheriff's Department Special Operations Unit (holding the rank of sergeant) while working with the MCP Task Force.
