The Multi-State Crime Interdiction Unit was formed by a metro Atlanta, Georgia law enforcement officer who, after years of responding to calls from crime victims, decided to try reducing crime by educating the public with free crime awareness seminars given throughout the United States. Over a ten year period MSCIU has worked with numerous organizations, companies, government agencies, and educational facilities. Among these are: U.S. Department of Labor-OSHA & U.S. Social Security Administration; AT&T; Holiday Inn; Adelphia Cable Systems; Bank of America; Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu; Georgia Department of Human Resources; Fulton County, GA & Lincoln County, TN Government Personnel; Norfolk Southern Railroad; Georgia Recreation & Park Association; City of Carrollton, GA; Atlanta/Fulton County Public Library System; Randolph County, AL Chamber of Commerce; Georgia Mining Association & Thiele Kaolin Company; Columbus Regional Medical Center; Carroll EMC & Okefenoke REMC; Albany, Dublin, Columbus, Savannah & Valdosta Boards of Realtors; Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs; Lions Club; Rotary Club; Kiwanis Club; and numerous educational systems throughout the southeast. Our Director, J. Trincher Watkins, started his law enforcement career in 1987 with the Gwinnett County, Georgia Sheriff's Department. He has worked for the State of Georgia, and several county and city law enforcement agencies. He graduated in the top 3% of his class from the 28th Gwinnett County, Georgia Police Academy and has numerous certifications in areas such as: Workplace Violence/Office Safety, Management, Hostage Negotiation, Drugs and Drug Identification, Drug Interdiction, and Gangs!!! Mr. Watkins received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, and was a commissioned officer in the United States Navy (both active duty and reserve) for fifteen (15) years.

After spending his last six years with the Fulton County, Georgia Sheriff's Department Special Operations Unit while working with the MCP Task Force, Mr. Watkins now heads the Multi-State Crime Interdiction Unit. His seminar promises to be both informative and entertaining which may greatly help reduce your chances of possibly becoming the next victim of a senseless crime.
